Who flies you
Empty Legs Near Me is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.
Before you book, your quote names the operator. Your charter agreement is with that carrier, which is responsible for the aircraft, crew and operation of the flight. Many of the operators we work with also hold third-party audits such as ARGUS ratings, Wyvern Wingman or IS-BAO registration.
What a quote includes
Every price we send is all-in. On domestic US flights that means the 7.5% federal excise tax and per-passenger segment fees, plus airport and handling fees, crew costs and anything else the trip needs. Optional extras such as special catering are listed separately, so the number you see is the number you pay.
What to expect
- Your request. Use the quote form or set up an alert for your airports. Tell us about pets, luggage and flexibility.
- Your options. An advisor emails you the aircraft, operator, timing and total price for each option. Empty legs are marked clearly, with their conditions.
- Your booking. You sign a charter agreement and pay according to its terms. The operator confirms the aircraft and crew.
- Your flight. The same advisor sends the airport, FBO and timing details and stays with you until you land.
Honest about empty legs
Empty legs are good value because they depend on someone else's trip. Their times are set by that trip and they can move or be canceled if it changes. We tell you this up front, and for any trip with a fixed date we quote a regular charter alongside so your plans never depend on a leg alone.
