Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of this website and the quotes and alerts you request through it. Effective 9 October 2026.
About Empty Legs Near Me
Empty Legs Near Me is run by Charter Jet One, an air charter broker. Empty Legs Near Me is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.
Our part is to find aircraft and repositioning flights, collect prices from operators and help you through booking. Flying the aircraft, and everything that operating a flight involves, is the operating carrier's responsibility.
Figures on this site are guides
Hourly rates, discounts, flight times, ranges and seat numbers on these pages are rough estimates to help you plan. They change with aircraft, operator, season, weather and airport rules, and none of them is an offer or a promise.
Quotes and alerts do not create a booking
A quote or an empty-leg alert is information, not a contract. A flight is booked only when you sign a charter agreement and meet its payment terms. Before you sign, we tell you which operating carrier will have operational control, and the agreement sets out the aircraft, times, total price, payment and cancellation rules.
Availability can change
Operators confirm aircraft and schedules at the moment of booking, not before. Another client may take an aircraft between quote and confirmation. Empty legs exist only because of another trip, so their time, route or existence may change if that trip does.
Taxes and fees
Each quote lists what it includes. US domestic charter carries the 7.5% federal excise tax and a small per-passenger segment fee; depending on the trip there may also be landing, handling, crew overnight, de-icing, catering, Wi-Fi or international charges. Anything a quote leaves out is shown as an extra.
Canceling or changing a trip
The charter agreement for your flight sets the cancellation and change terms. They vary by operator and are usually different for empty legs, so please read them before signing.
What we ask of you
- Accurate passenger numbers, luggage and pet details in every request.
- Valid passports, visas and any other documents each traveler needs.
- Following the crew's instructions and the safety rules on board and on the ramp.
Limits on our liability
We keep this site as accurate as we can, but it is offered as is. As far as the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by using the site or relying on its estimates, and liability the law does not allow us to limit is unaffected. The operating carrier is responsible for the flight under the charter agreement.
Fair use
Please send only real travel requests and do not interfere with how the site works. Text, layouts and images here may not be reused commercially without our written permission.
Law and updates
The laws of the United States and the State of New York apply to these terms. We may revise them, and the version on this page, with its effective date, is the one in force.
